TOMS RIVER, NJ – There’s a whole lot going on at the Ocean County Mall in Toms River and one of the highlights is P.F. Chang’s, an Asian fusion chain restaurant that is under construction.

“Founded in 1993 by Philip Chiang and Paul Fleming, P.F. Chang’s is the first internationally recognized multi-unit Asian culinary brand to honor and celebrate the 2,000-year-old tradition of wok cooking as the center of the guest experience,” Simon Properties boasted about the upcoming addition. “\With roots in Chinese cuisine, today’s menu at P.F. Chang’s spans across all of Asia, honoring cultures and recipes from Japan, Korea, Thailand, and beyond. Each item offers a unique exploration of flavor, whether it’s a handcrafted cocktail, wok-fired lunch bowl, or celebratory multi-course dinner. Worldwide, P.F. Chang’s has more than 300 restaurants in 23 countries and U.S. airport locations, including a growing number of convenient P.F. Chang’s To Go locations offering takeout and delivery.”

In New Jersey, you can get a sneak peek at P.F. Chang’s one of their eight other restaurants, the closest one being at the Freehold Raceway Mall in Freehold.

P.F. Chang’s restaurants offer bar service and a spacious and comfortable dining room and takeout service.

Everyone is Toms River is excited to have P.F. Changs coming and last week we got to speak to the company about when the location is opening.

Katie Erwin, spokeswoman for the company is hoping the restaurant will be open sometime during the spring, which is nearly here.

Along with P.F. Chang’s, the Ocean County Mall also welcomes Turning Point, Sweetwaters Coffee and Tea, On the Border and BJ’s Brewhouse as welcome recent, new and upcoming additions to the complex. It’s all part of their new “Restaurant Row”.

“We look forward to serving guests in Tom’s River as we open our new location there this spring,” Erwin said.
