Reading Police Seize ATVs, Yerf Dog Go Kart After Riders Caught on City Streets

READING, PA – Police in Reading reported the seizure of multiple ATVs and a Yerf Dog Go Kart this week after the riders were caught riding the off-road vehicles on city streets.

According to police, “On March 6th Reading Police Officers were on Patrol in the area of West Greenwich St and Clinton St when they observed several ATVs and a go-kart being operated in the 500 block of Clinton St.”

Responding officers were able to conduct a traffic stop of the go-kart which was being operated by a 31-year-old male whose name was not released.


“While on that stop another ATV pulled out of an alley onto the street where the Officer had the go kart stopped,” the Reading Police Department said. “The officer was able to conduct a stop of the ATVBoth operators were cited for operating ATVs on public roadways and related charges.”
