Woman Trashed CVS Store Because ATM Was Empty, Columbus Police

COLUMBUS, OH – More than one month after it happened, police in Columbus are still searching for a woman who trashed the North High Street CVS store because the ATM ran out of cash.

“On February 23, 2022, at 2:40 p.m., the suspect was driving an orange Nissan SUV and entered a north campus CVS store in the 2600 block of N. High St.,” the Columbus Police Department said. “The suspect attempted to use an ATM and claimed the ATM did not dispense her money. Management provided the suspect with information for the ATM company and the suspect became irate and destroyed products and displays.”

The suspect then fled the scene in the SUV. The vehicle had no visible license plates.
