Man Accidentally Shoots 7-11 Clerk in Philadelphia, Flees

PHILADELPHIA, PA – A black male wearing a blue sweatshirt and a backward baseball cap was adjusting his pants when he accidentally discharged his illegally concealed firearm, striking a store clerk.

The Philadelphia Police Department’s Shooting Investigation Group is asking for the public’s assistance with information about this shooting incident.

“On March 27, 2022, an employee of 7-Eleven located at 6771 N. 5th St was inside working when an unknown black was who was shopping adjusted his pants and accidentally discharged a firearm which was tucked in his waistband,” the Philadelphia Police Department said. “The bullet ricocheted off of the floor, striking the store clerk in the ankle. The offender left the store without offering assistance to the clerk and was last seen in a white Dodge Ram two door pickup truck with a black bug deflector and black door trim.”
