Bound Brook Man Charged for Crimes Against Child

BOUND BROOK, N.J. – A Bound Brook man has been arrested after police said he allegedly assaulted a 14-year-old girl.

According to acting Somerset County Prosecutor Annmarie Taggart, the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Chief of County Detectives John W. Fodor, and Acting Chief of Bound Brook Police Richard Colombaroni, Carlos B. Deleon-Sis, age 42, of New Hampshire Lane, Bound Brook, was arrested in relation to a sexual assault of a minor.

.Acting Prosecutor Taggart stated that on March 17, 2022, the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office received information that a 14-year-old victim was alleging that she was sexually assaulted in the borough of Bound Brook.


“The 14-year-old female was interviewed by a detective from the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Sex Crimes/Child Abuse Unit and the Bound Brook Police Department. The 14-year-old victim stated that she was sexually assaulted by Carlos B. Deleon-Sis numerous times between June 2021 and February 2022 in Bound Brook, New Jersey. An investigation was conducted by detectives from the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Sex Crimes/Child Abuse Unit and detectives from the Bound Brook Police Department,” court records state. “On April 6, 2022, as a result of this investigation, Defendant Deleon-Sis was arrested without incident and charged with 2nd degree, Sexual Assault, 3rd degree, Endangering the Welfare of a Minor, 4th degree, Criminal Sexual Contact. Defendant Deleon-Sis was lodged in the Somerset County Jail pending a detention hearing.”
