New Jersey Landscaper Charged for Assault Against Child

ENGLEWOOD, NJ – An Englewood Landscaper, Ulises Ramierz Argueta has been arrested on charges of aggravated sexual assault, burglary, and endangering the welfare of a child, according to Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella.

According to court records, “On Monday, April 11, 2022, the Englewood Police Department contacted the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit regarding the alleged sexual assault of a woman. An investigation by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office and the Englewood Police Department revealed that ULISES RAMIREZ ARGUETA unlawfully entered the victim’s home, sexually assaulted her, and endangered the welfare of three children who were present at the residence in Englewood.”

As a result of the investigation, Arguetta was arrested in Paramus, and charged with first-degree aggravated sexual assault, N.J.S.A. 2C:14-2a(3); first-degree aggravated sexual assault, N.J.S.A. 2C:14-2a(7); second-degree burglary, N.J.S.A. 2C:18-2; and third-degree endangering the welfare of a child, N.J.S.A. 2C:24-4a(1). ARGUETA was remanded to the Bergen County Jail pending his first appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack, NJ.
