Six Charged for 2021 Dundalk Smokehouse Murder

Baltimore, MD – Six people have been indicted in a 2021 homicide in Dundalk. According to detectives with the Baltimore County Police Department the six suspects were involved in the 2021 homicide of Rosario “Tony” Valenti. The suspects below have each been charged with first-degree murder.

  • 39-year-old Edward Glaze
  • 40-year-old Brandon Vogelsang
  • 41-year-old Brian Rodriguez
  • 36-year-old Jeffrey Hamrick
  • 39-year-old Eugene Epkins
  • 41-year-old Jessica Cruz

Police said Glaze, Vogelsang, Rodriguez, Epkins and Cruz are currently being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center without bond.

On Friday, February 26, 2021, Rosario “Tony” Valenti was attacked in front of Papas Smokehouse, located at 2715 North Point Blvd, Dundalk, MD 21222. Valenti, who died on March 3, 2021 following the injuries he sustained, was a customer of the restaurant that evening. Shortly after midnight, Tony exited the front entrance of the restaurant where he was attacked and stabbed.


Rosario “Tony” Valenti was 45 years old at the time. He was a family man and well known and well liked throughout the community.
