Weβve all been there before and having a flight delayed, even for three hours is frustrating, but few of us threaten to assault the airline worker who is just trying to keep everyone happy. Thatβs what former Fox News host Bill OβReilly did when his flight was delayed for five hours.
Itβs not that OβReilly had to hop on a flight for an interview or an appearance on some cable news network, he was on his way to Turks and Caicos.
The altercation took place at JFK airport, New York City, on April 3, 2022, at 9.24.AM.
While in full Karen mode, OβReilly said the worker was lucky he didnβt punch him in the face. OβReilly left the incident telling the worker he was going to lose his job.
OβReilly called the worker a βf-cking scumbagβ and said, βYouβre lucky I donβt throw fists.β
So far, we can only confirm the only person who lost their job was OβReilly who was fired from Fox News in 2017 after it was learned he settled several multi-million sexual harassment lawsuits with different women.
In a tweet, OβReilly later claimed himself as the victim of young Americans who live their lives with their eyes glued to their smartphones.
βThe text crew is kind of hopeless. They donβt care much about the challenges of their country. They are lost in cyberspace, and thatβs a tough road back to the real world,β OβReilly said.
OβReilly confessed that he handled the situation poorly but later railed on the fact that he had to wait seven hours. He said he was egged on by other passengers to be the delegate to find out what was happening. 76% of flights by Jet Blue were canceled or delayed that day, he said, calling Jet Blueβs actions fraud.
