BALTIMORE, MD – Part of Pennington Avenue is now Keona Holley Way after the city of Baltimore renamed the street in honor of fallen police officer Keona Holley. On Friday, the 4400 block of Pennington Avenue at Hazel Street was renamed Ofc. Keona Holley Way.

“This was done in recognition of Police Officer Keona Holley who was shot in the line of duty on December 16, 2021. Officer Holley died as a result of being shot just one week later,” the Baltimore Police Department said.

In attendance was Mayor Brandon Scott, Police Commissioner Michael Harrison along with other city officials, members of the police department, family, friends, and members of the community where Officer Holley served.
