18-Year-Old Shot in Ocean City

OCEAN CITY, MD – Ocean City Police are investigating a shooting on Talbot Street that sent an 18-year-old male victim to the hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

Police said overnight, at around 1:10 a.m., officers responded to the area of the 10 block of Talbot Street for a report of a shooting. Upon arrival officers located a victim suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. The victim an 18 years old male, was treated by Ocean City EMS and transported to TidalHealth Peninsula Regional.

“During the investigation, officers determined the location of the shooting occurred in the 10 block of Dorchester Street. Ocean City Forensic Services Unit responded to the scene to assist. The investigation is ongoing at this time,” the department said in a statement.
