BALTIMORE, MD – Police in Baltimore have made an arrest in the May 14th murder of 27-year-old mother Whitney Hoover. Hoover was found shot dead inside her car near Silver Spring Road and Philadelphia Road last week.
On Sunday, Baltimore County detectives arrested and charged 18-year-old Justin D. Allen with first-degree murder. He is currently being held at Baltimore County Detention Center without bond.
According to a Baltimore Police Department report, on May 14, at approximately 1:21 a.m., officers responded to a cardiac arrest call near Silver Spring and Philadelphia roads. When officers arrived, they located 27-year-old Whitney Hoover suffering from an apparent gunshot wound inside a vehicle. Hoover was pronounced deceased at the scene.
