Woman Shot in Harrisburg, Police Investigating

HARRISBURG, PA – Police in Harrisburg are investigating after a woman was shot early Sunday morning.

According to police, at about 2:15 am, Harrisburg Police Officers were in the downtown area and heard multiple shots fired. Officers then located an adult female victim that was suffering from a gunshot wound, near the area of N. 2nd Street and Barbara Street.

“Officers immediately rendered emergency aid. Upon the arrival of EMS the victim was transported to a local hospital for emergency care. The victim was listed in critical condition,” police reported later Sunday morning.
