26 Year-Old Shot In Baltimore ,Suspect Arrested

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a shooting that took place yesterday, on the 2000 Block of Bryant Avenue in Western Baltimore.

Police announced that they have arrested 26-year-old Cowanda Mills of Baltimore. She was being held at the scene by citizens until police arrived. Police suspect that she shot a 26 year-old man following an argument.

Cowanda Mills was transferred to Central Booking where she was charged with attempted 1st and 2nd degree murder and various handgun violations.


According to detectives, “At approximately 12 p.m., Western District patrol officers responded to the 2000 block of Bryant Avenue for a report of a shooting. Once there, officers were advised that a 26-year-old male victim was transported to an area hospital by medics. His condition is currently unknown.”
