Two Women Shot in Northeast D.C., Police Need Help Identifying Suspect Vehicle

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department is investigating a shooting that left two women injured on May 16th. This incident happened on the 5300 block of Dix Street in Northeast, D.C.. The police are asking for help in identifying the suspect’s vehicle.

According to detectives, “At approximately 10:51 pm, members of the Sixth District responded to the listed location for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, members located two adult female victims, located inside of a vehicle, suffering from gunshot wounds. DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene and transported the victims to area hospitals for treatment of life-threatening injuries.”

A nearby surveillance camera captured the suspects vehicle.
