BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a shooting which took place yesterday. This incident happened at the Metro PCS Store on the 5400 Block of Sinclair Lane in Northeast Baltimore.

A store employee tried to wrestle the gun from the suspect, and at that point the gun fired and the employee was struck in the leg.

When the handgun dropped to the floor that same employee shot the suspect in the abdomen and the police were promptly called.

This investigation remains under investigation. The suspect will be being charged with Attempted Armed Robbery, Reckless Endangerment, and other handgun violations after he is released from the hospital.
