Glen Burnie Homes Shot At After Fight

GLEN BURNIE, MD – Two homes were shot at on Sunday in Glen Burnie, with police finding at least 20 spent shell casings. It all started with a fight that escalated into gunfire. Police say no people were hit.

According to the Anne Arundel Police Department, on Sunday, at approximately 4:00 a.m. officers responded to a report of shots fired in the 400 block of Longtowne Court in Glen Burnie.

“Officers located approximately 20 spent rifle casings in the immediate area just in front of a residence. Officers found that rounds had struck the front of at least two occupied residences,” police reported. “The residents advised that prior to the shooting, they were involved in a physical altercation with three subjects who were not known to them.”


The suspects made threats to return and harm the victims. Several minutes later the victims heard the gunshots and rounds striking their residence. The suspects fled in a gray or silver vehicle.
