Two Teenagers Victims of Shooting in Columbus

COLUMBUS, OH- The Columbus Police Department is investigating a shooting that took place on Wednesday night. Officers responded to Seymour Avenue and Livingston Avenue on reports of shots fired.

“The two victims were confronted by four young males. One of the males pulled up his shirt and showed a black handgun in his waistband, then demanded their property,” investigators stated. The 15-year-old victim then ran away on foot.

The 18-year-old victim was then punched in the face. The three suspects then punched and kicked him numerous times after knocking him to the ground. One of the suspects fired one gunshot striking the 18-year-old in the foot.


The suspects then ran off, without taking any of the victim’s property. The 18-year-old transported himself to Mount Carmel East Hospital where he was declared in stable condition. No suspects have been identified at this time.
