Wellsville, NY – Police in Wellsville have announced the arrest of Darren S. Mattison, age 38, with no permanent address, charging him with Rape and Criminal Contempt.
“The charges stem from an incident that took place on June 4th in the Village of Wellsville. Mattison was also charged with Grand Larceny 4th – Firearm (Class E Felony) and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th – by a convicted felon. The charges stem from an incident that took place on June 5th in the Village of Wellsville,” police said. “Mattison was additionally charged with Criminal Contempt 2nd for a May 10th incident in the Village and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th for a March 31st incident that took place in the Village.”
Mattison was processed on all charges and arraigned before Wellsville Village Justice Thompson. Mattison was committed to the Allegany County Jail on $25,000.00 cash bail or $50,000.00 property bond or $100,000.00 partially secured bond. Mattison is due back in Wellsville Village Court on June 21st at 4:30 pm.
