Gym, Tan, False Alarm; Police Searching for Man Who Caused False Fire At Ocean City Hotel

OCEAN CITY, NJ – Police in Ocean City are hoping to identify a suspect who is wanted for questioning for a false alarm, public panic incident at a downtown hotel on Thursday.

“Officers are investigating a false fire alarm incident at a hotel in the downtown area that occurred on Thursday, at approximately 11:36 P.M.,” police reported. “The suspect is a white male, approximately 5’10”, 180 pounds, with brown hair. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a light gray colored tank top t-shirt, a gray and black baseball hat, black athletic shorts with “Under Armour” printed on the left pant leg, and white sneakers.”
