Hotel Robber Kicked in Door, Chased Female Employee Before Robbing Cash Register

BROOKLYN, MD – It was a frightful experience for a female worker at the Sleep Inn on Belle Grove Road in Brooklyn Saturday morning. A man entered the hotel and chased a worker, kicking in a door in an attempt to reach her after she ran from him.

“On Saturday, at approximately 1:30 a.m., officers responded for a report of a robbery that just occurred at the Sleep Inn located at 6055 Belle Grove Road in Brooklyn,” the Anne Arundel Police Department said. “The suspect entered the business with his face covered and aggressively ran toward the employee. The employee fled to another room, where the suspect kicked the door in an attempt to get to her.”

The suspect then returned to the front desk and removed cash from the register, and fled on foot. He was described by police as a black male, approximately 5’10”, wearing a face mask.
