Allentown Shooting Victim Expected to Survive

ALLENTOWN, PA – A male victim who was shot by an unknown assailant on Tuesday is expected to survive his injuries, the Allentown Police Department reported today.

At around 11:40 pm on Tuesday, police responded to the 200 block of East Hickory on the report of shots fired in the vicinity. Upon arrival, police located a male victim, who was not identified suffering from a gunshot wound.

The victim was rushed to a local hospital by Allentown EMS where he is in serious but stable condition. Police are investigating but have yet to determine a motive or identify a suspect at this time.
