WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department is investigating a shooting that left a 45 year-old man dead in Northeast, D.C. . This incident took place on June 25th on the 1700 block of West Virginia Avenue.
According to detectives, “At approximately 4:47 pm, members of the Fifth District responded to the listed location for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, the members located an adult male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene and discovered the victim displayed no signs consistent with life. The decedent remained on the scene until transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.”
45-year-old Jason Ford of Northwest, D.C. was identified as the victim.
