ALLENTOWN, PA – Two people were stabbed in Allentown after getting into a verbal disagreement over money owed from a ride given to them by the victim. With the price of gas hovering around $5 per gallon, there’s now a lot of money on the line in such transactions.

On Sunday, at around 8 pm, Allentown police officers arrived on the scene after two people were stabbed on South Cedar Crest Boulevard.

Police said the stabbing took place after a disagreement. They did not say whether the victims or the attacker was the driver of the vehicle. Police also did not say whether the incident was over a commercial rideshare service or a private transportation agreement.

Elliott Sessoms was charged by police for assault with a deadly weapon, harassment and simple assault.
