NEW YORK, NY – Two gay men were attacked by a hammer-wielding homophobe near Central Park last month and now, police have released video of the attacker.

The incident happened on June 25th, when two gay males, ages 52 and 57 were walking along 5th Avenue near East 63rd Street in Manhattan when they were approached by an unknown individual waving a hammer.

The suspect shouted, “F–k you, F-gg-ts” to the men before fleeing into Central Park.

Now, police are investigating the matter as a bias crime and are hoping the public can assist in identifying the suspect.
