Driver Ejected in Multi-vehicle Crash on Double Trouble Road

BERKELEY TOWNSHIP, NJ – Police in Berkeley Township are investigating a crash between two vehicles on Double Trouble Road in Berkeley Township on Wednesday. Two drivers were rushed to Jersey Shore Medical Center by helicopter medevac. One was thrown from his vehicle during the crash.

At approximately 8:59 am, officers were dispatched to the area of Double Trouble Road and the Garden State Parkway South entrance for a two-vehicle crash with injuries.

A police investigation found that a 2012 Honda Civic was traveling southbound on Double Trouble Road and was preparing to make a left onto the Garden State Parkway South ramp. Police said a second vehicle was determined to be operating in the northbound lane of Double Trouble Road in a 2009 Ford 250 Van.


“The Honda then attempted to make a left-hand turn and was struck by the Ford Van which was traveling straight,” police said. “As a result of the crash, the driver of the van was ejected from his vehicle. The driver sustained multiple injuries and was transported to Jersey Shore Medical Center via medevac.”
