HOLMDEL, NJ – Route 35 has been shut down in both directions in the area of the Holmdel Motor Inn. Residents have reported multiple sightings of zombies. The road will be closed until noon. Police said another closure is scheduled for between 3 and 5 pm.

“Please be advised that motorists will be experiencing intermittent closures on Highway 35 on Thursday, July 21st, between 7am and 12pm and between 3pm and 5pm in the area of the Holmdel Motor Inn,” the Holmdel Police Department said.

“Additionally, between the hours of 4pm and 8pm on Friday, July 22nd there will be intermittent closures and between 8pm and 5am, Highway 35 will be completely closed, in both directions, from Union Ave to Miller Ave. Motorists will be able to access local businesses along the highway during the closure,” police reported.

On Monday, July 25th, there will be intermittent closures on Highway 35, in the area of the Holmdel Motor Inn, between 9am and 10pm.

“Detours will be in place, please plan an alternate route of travel as heavy delays are expected. Thank you for your patience during this time,” police added.
