Shots Fired Into Crowd in Akron, 4-Year-Old Killed

AKRON, OH- On July 8, a large group of people gathered in the parking lot of 767 Boulevard Street for a party. Later that night, three suspects rang out multiple shots into the crowd, killing 4-year-old Journei Tolbert and 40-year-old Johnny Gaiter.

According to witnesses, the suspects fled in a dark-colored SUV. The SUV may have been a green 2017-2021 Jeep Compass, a darker-colored Ford Escape, or a Hyundai Santa Fe.
