WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington, D.C. Metro Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that took place on Monday morning. This incident took place on the 4900 block of 6th Street in Northeast, D.C.. The police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect.
According to police, “At approximately 8:50 am, the suspect approached the victims at the listed location. the suspect brandished a handgun and demanded money from the victims. The victims complied and the suspect fled the scene.”
Nearby surveillance cameras captured the suspect.
