Police in Severn Responded to Multiple Shots Fired Incidents Friday Night

SEVERN, MD – On Friday night, police in Severn chased down multiple shots fired incidents, but were unsuccessful in locating any suspects or victims.

The first call came in at approximately 12:00 p.m.

“An officer heard multiple gunshots fired in the area of Meade Village Road and Meade Village Circle in Severn,” the Anne Arundel County Police Department said in a statement today. “Several buildings and parked vehicles were struck by projectiles. Numerous spent shell casings were recovered from the scene.”

Later that night, at approximately 7:30 p.m., officers responded to a report of gunshots fired in the 8200 block of Stewarton Court in Severn.

“An occupied home and a parked, unoccupied vehicle were struck by projectiles. No injuries were reported,” police said. “Officers located several spent shell casings on the ground.”

Police are continuing their investigation.
