HYATTSVILLE, MD – A man was shot and killed in the food court at the Mall at Prince George’s on Thursday.
According to the Prince George’s County Police Department, investigators are asking for the community’s help in locating a suspect who fatally shot a man Thursday afternoon in the city of Hyattsville.
“The victim is 20-year-old Darrion Herring of Hyattsville. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case,” police said. “At approximately 4:00 pm, officers with the City of Hyattsville and Prince George’s County Police responded to the 3500 block of East West Highway in the city of Hyattsville for a report of a shooting.”
Herring was discovered at the food court in a mall suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on scene.
Investigative developments led detectives to identify the pictured individual as a suspect in the shooting.
