Howard County Police Blotter for August 30, 2022

HOWARD COUNTY, MD – The Howard County Police Department has reported the following incidents that required police response in the past few days in their daily crime bulletin.

“The daily crime bulletin is posted each weekday when county offices are open and includes the initial reporting of various crimes such as robberies, burglaries, assaults, vehicle thefts, and theft from vehicles. It is not inclusive of all police activity in a day,” the department said in a statement.

Weapon violation
Elkridge, 21075: 
6900 block of San Tomas Road, Aug. 29 11:30 a.m.
Two adult male victims reported that a male suspect threatened them and displayed a handgun. Police located the suspect and recovered a loaded handgun. No one was injured. The suspect was arrested.
ARRESTED: Marco Tulio Romero, 44, of Halethorpe, charged with weapon violations

Robbery 
Ellicott City, 21042: 
Home Depot, 9100 block of Baltimore National Pike, Aug. 29 3:09 p.m. 
Police responded for a report that a male suspect assaulted a store employee who confronted him as he stole merchandise. The suspect then fled; no one was injured. Police located the suspect nearby and arrested him. 
ARRESTED: Shaun Matthew Brown, 20, of Baltimore, charged with robbery, theft, and assault

Columbia, 21046: 7300 block of Eden Brook Drive, Aug. 30
