New York City subway rider slashed after coming to aid of victim being harrassed on train

New York, NY – A 36 year old male victim was slashed when he attempted to intervene when a man was being harassed on a commuter train in New York City. The incident happened on Sunday at around 10:20 PM at the Bedford Ave. Subway station.

The New York City Police Department reported that the unidentified male was harassing commuters and slapped a commuter in the face. At that time, the 36-year-old man intervened and attempted to stop the man from further harassing and assaulting passengers on the train. The suspect then pulled out a sharp object and slashed the man in the face.

The New York City Police Department is now asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect in the slashing incident.
