Newark police seeking to identify a man wanted for two robberies

Newark, NJ- the North Police Department, is searching for a suspect who has wanted two burglaries that occurred back in May. According to police, a man identified in the photos released on Tuesday has been identified as a suspect. And two robberies. in the city.

Police responded to a call about a robbery that occurred at approximately 11:40 p.m. on May 30, in the 100 block of Bloomfield Avenue. The suspect and several individuals exited a stolen 2020 black BMW X7 (Registration W91MBK) and robbed the victim of his backpack. During the second robbery, which occurred at 12:10 a.m. at Central Avenue and Hoyt Street, one of the suspects brandished a knife. In both incidents, several individuals got out of the BMW.
