Two Dead four injured in Hunting Park Neighborhood of Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA, PA – The Philadelphia Police Department has reported the death of a woman and man who were the victim of gunfire that erupted early Monday morning in the area of Huntington Park in Philadelphia.

According to police for other victims all male, including a teenager suffered gunshot wounds.

An investigation by police led to the discovery of multiple casings and witnesses claimed there was a large number of shots fired during the incident.


A 33-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene and a 19-year-old man who suffered multiple gunshot wounds to his body was later pronounced dead at the hospital at around 5:30 a.m.

The shooting took place at around 1 a.m. Nearly 700 block of West Russell Street.

According to police investigating the incident, no suspects or motives have been announced at this time. No arrests have been made.
