Two injured in drive-by shooting at Richmond Labor Day party

Richmond, VA- Police in Richmond I have reported that two men were shot in a drive-by shooting at a party on Labor Day. According to police at 8:09 p.m. officers responded to a large party in the 200 block of South Laurel Street. 911 calls reported shots fired at a party attended mostly by teenagers and college-aged adults.

One person was rushed to the hospital with a gunshot wound and another was grazed in the shooting. Witnesses reported an unknown vehicle drove by the area where the partygoers were congregating and fired several rounds striking the two men.

According to police investigating the incident, no suspects or motives have been announced at this time. No arrests have been made.
