D.C. Armed Robber Caught On Camera

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Metro Police Department in Washington D.C. is investigating an armed robbery that took place on Friday morning. This incident took place on the 4200 block of Dix Street in Northeast, D.C.. Detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying and locating the suspect.

According to detectives, “At approximately 6:58 am, the suspect approached the victim at the listed location. The suspect brandished a handgun and demanded money. The victim complied. The suspect took the money and fled the scene in a vehicle.”

A nearby surveillance camera captured the suspect and a vehicle of interest. If you can identify the suspect, or have any information about this incident, please take no action but call the police at (202) 727-9099 or text your tip to the Department’s TEXT TIP LINE at 50411.
