HOWARD COUNTY, MD – The Howard County Police Department has reported the following incidents that required police response in the past few days in their daily crime bulletin.
“The daily crime bulletin is posted each weekday when county offices are open and includes the initial reporting of various crimes such as robberies, burglaries, assaults, vehicle thefts, and theft from vehicles. It is not inclusive of all police activity in a day,” the department said in a statement.

Robbery
Columbia, 21044: 5400 block of Beaverkill Road, Sept. 5 10:30 p.m.
An adult male victim reported that he was approached by a male suspect who stole his wallet and groceries before fleeing. No one was injured. No suspect description is available.
Commercial burglary
Columbia, 21045: Budget Car Rental, 7200 block of Cradlerock Way, Sept. 4-5
Unknown suspect(s) entered the business by breaking the front glass door. Nothing was reported stolen.
Clarksville, 21029: Village Liquors, 12200 block of Clarksville Pike, Sept. 5 3:11 a.m.
Unknown suspect(s) entered the business by forcing open a rear door and stole cash and cigarettes.
