Middle Schoolers Shot At While Walking Home in Greenbelt City

Greenbelt City, MD – the Greenbelt City Police Department today reports that a group of teenagers were walking home at around 4:20 p.m. with another juvenile suspect fired several rounds at the group from his gun.

On Wednesday, at approximately 4:49 p.m., officers responded to the area of Springhill Lane and Springhill Drive for the report of a non-contact shooting.

“The victim reported he and a group of middle-school-aged juveniles were walking home around 4:20 p.m. when a juvenile male suspect fired several rounds at the group. None of the boys were injured,” police said.


The suspect is described as a 13/14-year-old light-skinned male, 5’4”, with curly brown hair, wearing a black hoodie, khaki pants, Yeezy shoes, and a surgical mask.
