39 Year-Old Man Charged In D.C. Homicide

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Washington D.C. Metro Police Department Major Crash Investigations Unit has made an arrest in a homicide that happened on September 2nd. This incident happened on the 100 Block of 56th Street in Southeast, D.C.

Police say, “At approximately 6:35 pm, members of the Sixth District responded to the listed location for the report of a traffic accident. Upon arrival, members located an adult female victim suffering from apparent trauma. DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene and transported the victim to an area hospital. After all life-saving efforts failed, the victim was pronounced dead.”

60-year-old Rebecca Manley, of Northeast, D.C. was identified as the victim.


 39-year-old Archie Moore, Junior of Northeast, DC, was arrested on Sunday and charged with Second Degree Murder, Reckless Driving, and Driving Under the Influence.
