Man stabbed in broad daylight aboard New York City train

NEW YORK, NY – Police in New York City are investigating after a 34-year-old man was stabbed during an argument on a New York City train Friday afternoon.

According to police, the incident happened at around 1:45 p.m. on the M Train at the Myrtle Avenue and Broadway Station in Bushwick.

The New York City Police Department said the male victim was engaged in an argument with another rider on the train. That suspect stabbed the man in the stomach before fleeing. The victim was rushed to Kings County Hospital Center and is expected to survive his wounds.


According to police investigating the incident, no suspects or motives have been announced at this time. No arrests have been made.
