Howard County Police Blotter: Here’s What’s Happening

HOWARD COUNTY, MD – The Howard County Police Department has reported the following incidents that required police response in the past few days in their daily crime bulletin.

“The daily crime bulletin is posted each weekday when county offices are open and includes the initial reporting of various crimes such as robberies, burglaries, assaults, vehicle thefts, and theft from vehicles. It is not inclusive of all police activity in a day,” the department said in a statement.

Robbery
Columbia, 21044:
 Eliots Oak Road & Fallriver Row Court, Sept. 9 3:15 p.m.
Two juvenile male victims reported that they were approached by several juvenile male suspects who displayed handguns, assaulted the victims, and stole their belongings before fleeing. No serious injuries were reported.

Commercial burglary
Columbia, 20144: 
Banter by Piercing Pagoda, 10300 block of Little Patuxent Parkway, Sept. 8-9 overnight
Unknown suspect(s) pried open displays and stole jewelry. 

Columbia, 21045: Budget Car Rental, 7200 block of Cradlerock Way, Sept. 9-10 overnight
Unknown suspect(s) entered the business by forcing open a door. Nothing was reported stolen. 

Columbia, 21045: Clarks Ace Hardware, 8800 block of Mcgaw Road, Sept. 11 4:10 a.m.
Unknown suspect(s) entered the business by breaking a glass door and stole landscaping equipment.
