Baltimore cops on downtown foot patrol respond to shooting, two arrested

BALTIMORE, MD – Baltimore police officers on routine foot patrol in the city’s downtown area, just north of the Inner Harbor section heard gunshots and responded quickly to the area of East Baltimore Street early Saturday morning.

Upon their arrival, they found a 27-year-old man who was shot in the foot. After stabilizing the victim, he was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

After an investigation, police arrested two 26-year-old men who are believed to have been involved in the shooting. At this time, police did not release the suspects’ names. Police have not yet reported whether or not charges have been filed at this time.
