One dead in Sunday morning shooting in Hoboken apartment project

HOBOKEN, NJ – Gunfire erupted in the early morning hours inside an apartment complex on Marshall Drive in Hoboken. When police arrived, they found one male victim with a gunshot wound to the torso.

At around 3:25 am, Hoboken police officers responded to the location to find Christopher Garcia, 28, of Hoboken with a single gunshot wound. He was transported to Jersey City Medical Center where he was pronounced dead thirty minutes later.

At this time, police have released few details regarding the shooting and confirmed that no arrests had been made in the shooting.
