WASHINGTON, D.C. – A 32-year-old man was shot and killed in northeast Washington, D.C. early Saturday morning. The shooting happened on the 2300 Block of 15th Street at approximately 1 am.
The victim was identified as David Scott, a D.C. resident
The D.C. Metro Police Department, in a statement today, said, ” Upon arrival, the members located an adult male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene and transported the victim to a local hospital”
Shortly after arrival, Scott was pronounced dead. Police did not release any further information regarding this shooting. No suspects have been identified at this time.
