43-year-old stabbed to death in Baltimore, suspect arrested

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – Shortly after midnight yesterday a 43-year-old man was stabbed to death in a boarding house in Eastern Baltimore. Baltimore Police responded to a call of a serious cutting. When they arrived at the 1400 Block of North Central Avenue, they found the man suffering from multiple stab wounds in his abdomen.

The man was brought to John Hopkins University where he died as a result of his injuries. Detectives from the homicide unit investigated and located the suspect.

A resident of the boarding house, Jayquann Bridgeman (23) of Baltimore was arrested without incident.


According to police, “Bridgeman was transported to the Homicide Section where he was interviewed, and then to Central Booking where he has been charged with 1st and 2nd Degree Murder, 1st and 2nd Degree Assault, and Assault with a Deadly Weapon.”
