BALTIMORE, MD – The Baltimore County Police Department was called to investigate a suspicious package found in the 500 block of Painters Mill Road in Owings Mills.

As a result of an investigation, police found the package was not dangerous, and after a brief shutdown and evacuation of the nearby building, police cleared the scene and reopen the roads.

“Tonight at 7:36 p.m., Officers from Franklin precinct responded to the 5000 block of Painters Mill Rd for a suspicious package,” the Baltimore County Police Department said in a statement. “Out of an abundance of caution, the location was evacuated. The investigation is ongoing and updates will be made as additional info becomes available.”
