Dickey's Barbecue Pit Hosts Guest Appreciation Event

World’s largest barbecue concept celebrates guests with specials, raffles, and more on Oct. 13

New Orleans, LA  (PRESS RELEASE)  Dickey’s Barbecue Pit has served its iconic, Legit. Texas. Barbecue.™ for more than eight decades, since the opening of their first BBQ joint in Dallas, Texas back in 1941. The family behind the brand knows that it wouldn’t be possible to become the world’s largest barbecue franchise without the support of its loyal BBQ fans and foodies.

On Thursday, October 13, 2022, Dickey’s is hosting a Guest Appreciation Event with two special appearances – Dickey’s Original Pitmaster Mr. Roland Dickey and CEO Laura Rea Dickey. Join the family at the Dickey’s Barbecue Pit in Slidell, Louisiana on 61103 Airport Road.


The local community is invited to join in on the fun and meet the Dickeys in person. Guests also have the opportunity of getting their hands on a Dickey’s “Behind The BBQ” cookbook, autographed by Mr. Dickey and Laura Rea Dickey while supplies last. The festivities continue with a raffle, where one lucky guest will win Free Barbecue for A Year. Even if you don’t get your name called, you can still be a winner by enjoying $3 pulled pork sandwiches.
