Young girl victim of attempted luring in Pemberton Township

Pemberton, NJ- A young girl walking along College Drive in the Lake Valley section of Cumberland Township was approached by multiple unknown males in a white SUV Monday night at around 5:47 p.m.

According to the Pemberton Township Police Department, the girl was walking home from school when the men exited the vehicle and attempted to grab her. Police said the girl was able to break free and flee her attacker.

The girl was unable to provide police with detailed descriptions of the attackers but said they were driving a white SUV-style vehicle. Today, police asked neighbors in the community to check their home surveillance video cameras to see if the incident was caught on video or if video footage of the suspects were available.
