COLUMBUS, OH – Police in Columbus have announced the arrest of a second suspect in the murder of Miguel Arriola this past August.

Abdulkadir Ahmed, 18, was charged with murder and aggravated robbery for the Hilltop murder.

According to police, on August 19, at approximately 10:20 pm., officers were dispatched to the 300 block of Wicklow Road on the report of shots fired.

“911 dispatchers had received multiple calls of two vehicles chasing and shooting at one another. Once officers arrived in the area, they were directed to the area of Parkside Road and South Roys Avenue where they found the 32-year-old victim, still in a vehicle, suffering from a gunshot wound,” police said at the time.

The Columbus Fire Department EMTs pronounced him dead at the scene. A 19-year-old man was also in the vehicle but was not injured.

Hussein Bilal was arrested and charged in late September with murder, felonious assault, and aggravated robbery in connection to this incident.
