Buffalo man facing felony charge after throwing rock through federal building window

BUFFALO, NY – 61-year-old Jones Ricky Woods of Buffalo has been charged with criminal mischief after allegedly throwing a rock at the U.S. Attorney’s Office building.

It is alleged that on Sunday, January 29, 2023, at approximately 2:58 a.m., the defendant intentionally threw a rock through the front glass door of the U.S. Attorney’s Office building located on the 100 block of Delaware Avenue in the City of Buffalo. The defendant’s alleged actions caused the glass to break. The incident occurred while the building was closed.

If convicted, he faces four years in prison.
